Nutrition Counselling

What is Naturopathic Nutrition?

Naturopathic Nutrition involves the use of whole and organic foods as medicine. Using a holistic approach to each individual and creating a Naturopathic Nutrition Plan specifically tailored to suit you and your needs.

How do we begin?

Your first 20 to 30 minute consultation is free!

I like to meet future clients for a chat to see if I can help you, if we can work together, if this is the right time to start seeing a naturopathic nutrition therapist, and if you are ready for change.

What happens next?

I send you my forms for completion. Once I have received these we arrange a date and time that is suitable for your Initial Consultation, this takes between 75 to 90 minutes.

Initial consultation?

We complete a MYMOP (measure yourself medical outcome profile) and I ask further questions relating to the forms you have completed and sent me.

I do a physical examination of your tongue and nails and build a synopsis of your case. Together we agree on your treatment aims and I create your personal Naturopathic Nutrition Treatment Plan along with any supplement recommendations for you to take home. We arrange a time for your 10 day check-in along with a date that is suitable for your follow up consultation to take place.

Skype consultations

I also offer remote consultations! Please simply contact me to set one up.

Yoga Instruction

I teach Hatha Yoga, a system of physical exercises and breathing control.

Hatha yoga, also known as Hatha Vidya, is a particular system of Yoga introduced by Yogi Swatmarama, a sage of 15th century India, and compiler of the book Hatha Yoga Pradipika.

In this treatise Swatmarama introduces Hatha Yoga as ‘a stairway to the heights of Raja Yoga’, hence a preparatory stage of physical purification that renders the body fit for the practice of higher meditation.

The Asanas and Pranayama in Raja Yoga were what the Hindu Yogis used to physically train their body for long periods of meditation.

This practice is called shatkarma. The word Hatha is a compound of the words Ha and Tha meaning sun and moon.

Integrative Services

Why not unite the two modalities as they continue to feed off each other and create an increased overall feeling of wellness.

In my experience being able to suggest a healthier input of food along side advising specific yoga postures means people work from the inside out, gaining more knowledge and a better understanding of who they actually are.
